Hello, my name is Rasha Khoury and this is my story!

Since I was a little girl, I have always been passionate about art, colours and the outdoors. If you wanted to keep me inside the house, give me colouring pens and lots of papers. Otherwise, don’t expect me to stay in.

I have always been very energetic, passionate and positive and I believe it’s because of the special connection that I have with the sun and the sea. The warmth of the sun, recharges me and the sea energy, washes my soul from negativity. I guess that’s why, I have always lived in sunny places and by the water.

With my Design degree from University, I worked as Graphic Designer for few years and then as an Event Planner.

Until, it got so comfortable with the job. I wasn’t learning anymore and my passion was not my drive. We all know that feeling of not wanting to get out of bed in the morning.  That was my Red Light back then and I knew it’s time for a CHANGE! It’s time to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself.

I started practicing meditation to find my soul purpose, connecting with my inner-self trying to align my skills and talent with a career that I could step into with passion and love. Then I saw a video talking about Ikigai (pronounced Ick-ee-guy), which is a Japanese Concept Meaning “A Reason for Being”. It is the reason that makes you want to jump out of the bed each morning. Makes you forget about eating, drinking, sense of time and location. It’s your talent! What you are good at? what you love? and what makes you happy and fulfilled?

I knew my talent was Art and Design, I was always good with colours and creating themes and concepts even when I was doing events. When I bought my house in 2016 and renovated it by myself, I knew how fulfilling it was to design my own place and to landscape my own garden with minimum budget and great outcome. People will come visit, and they just want to stay! I knew as well that I am good with communicating with people, listening to them and supporting them. I could feel someone’s energy from across the room. They will all comment on my positivity and my vibes and I knew that the next thing I should do, it has to do with design, energy healing and helping people.

I knew little about Feng Shui but I felt that I should dig deeper into this knowledge sensing it covers the two areas I am passionate about the most. I wanted to be able to do what I love and to help people live in harmony, peace and to be inspired every single day.

By the beginning of 2017, I started my studies with the International Feng Shui School and I have been very blessed to have an amazing Master Amanda Sophia who brought my passion back to life. During my studies, I felt that I am being reminded of this amazing knowledge that my soul knew before and I knew that I found my Ikigai “My Soul Purpose”.

So on the last day of 2017, I quit my job to follow my passion and my life purpose. All the fears disappeared when I found peace deep within. I travelled to an Eco Yoga and Meditation Ashram in South India where I met beautiful souls and had amazing teachers. I came back to Dubai to start Inspiration by Rasha Khoury in April 2018. I absolutely love what I do and I am looking forward to share my passion in Design, Feng Shui and Landscaping with you all.
